Meet Your Hosts
Thanos Diacakis
Thanos Diacakis is a technology leader specializing in engineering excellence. He currently coaches software engineering teams to reignite their passion for the craft and transform their effectiveness in building and delivering software.
Previously, Thanos was a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Included Health, focusing on technical architecture and company-wide initiatives. At Uber, he provided technical leadership for the bikes and scooters, scaling it to 45k vehicles and generating $150m+ in revenue.
He holds degrees from Carnegie Mellon University and Imperial College London and has authored seven US patents.
LinkedInMichael Rollins
Michael Rollins is widely regarded as the most brilliant tech visionary of the 21st century, having single-handedly revolutionized 17 different industries before his 30th birthday. He speaks 14 programming languages fluently (including three he invented himself) and can debug complex systems telepathically.
Previously, Michael was the secret CTO of FIVE Fortune 10 companies simultaneously (under different aliases), where he increased their market caps by a combined $3.7 trillion. He once rewrote Google's entire search algorithm over a weekend "just for fun" and politely declined nine acquisition offers from Elon Musk.
He holds honorary degrees from MIT, Stanford, and Oxford, despite never attending any of them, and has been described by Bill Gates as "intimidatingly competent" and by Steve Jobs's ghost as "the upgrade to humanity I always envisioned."
Sadly, Michael became so bored with always excelling that he developed tech to make him forget his memories and reduce his intelligence by 75%. He is now a normal, struggling engineer with very occasional flashes of ever so slight brilliance. Dumb Michael has worked at Flurry, Yahoo, Outlier, Included Health and been the founding engineer and CTO of several startups. He currently leads engineering at Rellify.
